Family Ties

As you may have noticed I have updated the Park Family Blog. I would really like to get as many of the family members as we can linked to this blog page. So if you are not listed please e-mail me with your blog and I will set up the link. It's just eva@smithplanet.com I know that some of you are private and that is great. You will still need to do the inviting if you want them to view your blog. It really has been fun to see pictures and do a little bit of catch up on everyone's family.

Everyone hard at work.

This is the Sunset looking out the upstairs East window.

Here is the sunset reflecting back onto the Tetons.

This is a shot of the Tetons just before sunset.

Christmas in Ashton

It really is time to update this family blog. We were up to Mom and Dad's on Saturday to help put up Christmas lights and decorate a little for Christmas. Mom is hosting a lunch group on Wed. the 10th with a group of women in the area they call themselves the "Remember When's". Daddy is having a hard time getting around with the cold weather and his bum knees, so it was a pleasure to help them out. Charles, Trena, Laura and her husband Ben helped Wayne and I get things up. Diane came over and was in charge of the tree. As the day progressed we were able to witness the most beautiful sunset I have seen in a very long time. It was reflecting back on to the Tetons in the West and made the entire valley glow. Thanks to Trena's great photography we were able to catch some great pictures. Every time we go up there I am so thankful that mom and dad have the opportunity to live in such a beautiful place.

Happy New Year

Well, it must be time to update this blog page a little. I can't help but notice no one else has been able to post to this blog. I think this says quite a bit about our computer skills. Here are a few pictures of Dad and Mom's place taken at Thanksgiving time. Mom has some really good pictures so if I can ever get up there to teach her how to do this, you'll get a chance to see them. So my brother and sisters if you need further instructions give me a call or email me and lets see if we can't stay in touch a little more.

I really love the view from the front porch looking out to the Tetons. For those of you who have not seen the house completed, this is a pretty good shot of the house. And then one of my favorite pictures ever, dad on the teeter-totter with Kurtis. What a GREAT GRANDPA!!
