I just love wintertime! I really do love all the things that make up winter, snow, cold, the smell, sledding, and the look of clean white everywhere. I love the slow pace of wintertime, things seems to slow down a little bit and it is not so crazy all of the time. Thus a Blog update. A few weeks ago Wayne and I went up to mom and dads to visit. I had bought a new camera with a great zoom lens and decided to take some pictures around the place. It was a lot of fun to just mess around for awhile. Of course Wayne and Charles were working hard checking off items on moms "to do" list. I tried to put them into a slide show but I can't seem to figure it out. If anyone would like to call me and give me some pointers that would be great. So I had to pick just a few pictures to show you. Unfortunately we haven't been snowed in this winter and I think it is winding down for the season but for those of you who live far away this will give you a taste of Idaho and those of you that live here I will give you a new look at the good side of winter. Hopefully you will all take the time to enjoy a good cup of cocoa and a great book. Slow down and enjoy life.
Norman and Carol were married July 22, 1949. They have 5 children, 35 grandchildren and 79 great grandchildren. With 6 due to join the family by the summer of 2010. That will make 85 great grandchildren. Not very many people live to see that kind of posterity. They have shared 60 adventuresome years together and have built a heritage we are all proud of.
